What is detoxification and regeneration?
The program is based on fasting and autophagy, two powerful tools for cellular health. Autophagy, the body’s natural process of cellular renewal, helps eliminate toxins and damaged cells so the body can regenerate and work better. Under our supervision you will experience its benefits, from increased energy to a noticeable lift in mood.
A natural environment for healing
In the south of Tenerife, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the hotel offers the calm and serenity that encourage relaxation and connection with nature.
Organic and local food
Nutrition is key: organic meals made with local, seasonal ingredients, carefully crafted to complement the detoxification process and maximise the benefits of fasting.
Massage and epigenetic test
Daily relaxing massages help release tension and promote circulation, supporting the elimination of toxins. The epigenetic test tells you more about your health and personalises the program further.
The program
Day 1
- From 15:00Check-in — earlier if your villa is ready. Your villa comes with its own private heated pool.
- On arrivalMedical check-up (blood pressure and blood glucose) and the epigenetic test.
- Around 16:00One-hour relaxing massage (deep tissue if you prefer).
- Around 17:30Regenerating meal with local, organic and seasonal ingredients. All menus are vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian. After booking, our chef will contact you to personalise your menu.
- EveningFree time, and a restorative night’s sleep. The program means skipping dinner, so meal times are adjusted to your arrival; autophagy begins after roughly 16 hours without eating.
Day 2
- Around 10:00After about 16 hours of fasting: regenerative breakfast with local, organic and seasonal ingredients.
- 11:00–17:00Free time. Enjoy the gardens, the silence, a book — or relax by the pool or book a spa session.
- Around 17:00Regenerating meal with local, organic and seasonal ingredients.
- Around 19:00One-hour relaxing massage (deep tissue if you prefer), then a restorative night’s sleep.
The same activities are repeated on each further day of the retreat.
Last day
- Around 09:00Medical check-up: blood pressure and blood glucose.
- Around 09:30Healthy and delicious breakfast on the day of departure.
- Around 11:00Check-out.
For stays longer than 3 days, each additional day follows the same plan as day 2. EcoHotel El Agua can recommend a local car hire agency.
The program includes
- Epigenetic test on arrival and a medical check-up on the day of arrival
- Half-board menu: vegetarian, vegan or raw vegan, with organic, seasonal and local ingredients
- A light purification on the first day with natural salts
- Intermittent fasting (no breakfast)
- Preferably raw and revitalising food; vegetarian, vegan or raw vegan cuisine available
- Remineralising juices, seasonal organic fruit and green teas
- One massage a day (except on the first or last day, depending on arrival and departure times)
- Relaxation and use of the hotel’s spaces
For programs of 7 nights or more, a second medical check-up is carried out on departure. Before arrival we may ask you for a blood test and a carotid ultrasound.
All other services and therapies are available on request and charged separately. Hygiene products (soap, shampoo, body cream) are provided free of charge and are fully organic, not tested on animals.
Guarantee policy
Prepayment is required. A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay is required at the time of booking. Any remaining balance is required 60 days prior to the arrival date.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation if you cancel or change more than 60 days before the arrival date. If cancelled or changed between 59 days and the arrival date, or in case of no-show, the full price of the booking will be charged.
